People That Care is dedicated to educating, empowering, and enriching the lives of children, families, and individuals by providing essential resources, mentorship, and community support. Rooted in faith and compassion, we strive to break down barriers, restore hope, and create opportunities for successful living. We care because God cares, and through our work, we seek to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

Meet The Founder:

Christopher A. Stone

Dr. Christopher A. Stone is a husband, father, grandfather, Pastor, professor, author, community advocate and visionary leader who teaches and leads people with strong convictions deeply rooted in the Holy Bible and Christian faith. He is a man strong faith who honors Biblical marriage and family. Dr. Stone lives by the motto “GOD First.”

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Public Administration. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies and earned Doctorate of Theology degree from Gospel Schools of the Bible Theological Institute.

Dr. Stone worked with the Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention as an Officer of the Courts and Adjunct Instructor for eighteen years.

He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Unity Worship Center Church of GOD In Christ. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of People That Care, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to educate, empower and enrich the lives of youth and families for successful living through career, life support, mentoring and substance abuse services.

Dr. Stone is a national and international Christian Leader spokesman. He serves on several business and agency boards.

Dr. Stone resides in Burlington, North Carolina with his wife Nadine and 17 family members (daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren).
